Yulon Motor Co. spun off its R&D and sales divisions to form Yulon-Nissan Motor Co. in 2003 to strengthen cooperation relations with Nissan Motor Co. (Japan).

China Motor Corp. exports technology to support production of the Freeca SUV in Vietnam and the Varica commercial vehicle in India. It also exports complete cars to the Philippines, the USA, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mexico, and other markets.
Guangzhou Fengshen Motor Co. was established as a joint venture by Yulon-Nissan Motor Co. and Dongfeng Motor Co. to produce Nissan brand passenger cars.
South East (Fujian) Motor Co. was established in 1995 as a joint venture by China Motor Corp. and Fujian Motor Industry Group Co. in Qingkou, Fuzhou. In 2006, the joint venture was joined by a new partner, Mitsubishi Motors Corp. (Japan). Furthermore, South East (Fujian) Motor Co. has formed a typical automobile industry cluster along with 30-some parts suppliers, which gave the company a competitive advantage through quick response to customer requests, low transport costs, and in-time deliveries.
Yulon Motor Co. acquired Nissan Motor Philippines, Inc. from Nissan Motor Co. (Japan) in 1999 to serve as the Group's gateway into the ASEAN market.
Hua-chuang Automobile Information Technical Center Co. has leveraged the strengths of Taiwan's automobile and electronic technology industries to develop cars for competitive entry into the Greater China market.



 

 

 Parts and Components  
 

The Yulon Group's parts-manufacturing system provides a full range of superior quality and highly competitive products for both domestic sale and export.
The main categories of parts supplied by the Yulon Group are rear axles, transmission shafts, instrument panels, bumpers, windshields, seatbelts, chassis frames, stamping dies, auto-body panels, seats, springs, radiators, engines, and other key parts and components.

The Yulon Group parts suppliers are located in both Taiwan and Mainland China.

 

 Marketing / Auto-related Services  
 

The Yulon Group has an extensive sales network comprising directly-operated units and joint ventures with sales agents. Throughout these channels, marketing emphasis is placed on putting the customer first.
In 2005, Yulon Motor Co. and GM China Inc. formed a joint venture, Yulon GM Co., to produce and market GM cars in Taiwan. In 2008, Yulon Motor acquired full ownership of Yulon GM, which subsequently became the general agent for GM Motors in Taiwan.
In 2006, China Motor Corp. and DaimlerChrysler Taiwan Ltd. set up a joint venture, Chrysler Group Taiwan Sales Ltd., to facilitate cooperation on the production and sale of Chrysler cars in Taiwan. In 2007, Chrysler International Corp. replaced DaimlerChrysler Taiwan as the joint venture partner of Chrysler Group Taiwan Sales.
LUXGEN Motor Co. was established in 2008 to market own-brand cars, providing proactive services that aim to exceed customer expectations.
Yulon TOBE Motor Co. was established in 2009 to market the second own-brand cars, while positioning its product for young generations.
The Yulon Group provides a full range of services to meet customer needs. Its service scope includes auto financing, auto insurance, car rental, used car sales, rapid auto repair, roadside assistance, travel, and publication services.
