With the spirit of "contribution to the country by developing industry," Mr. Tjing-Ling Yen, Founder of Yulon Group, was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Vivian Wu Yen, to establish Tai Yuen Textile Co. in 1951. The company engaged in spinning and weaving businesses, pioneering the construction of Taiwan's livelihood industries. In 1953, Yulon Motor Co. was established to engage in the production of automobiles, and led relevant companies to boost Taiwan's auto-related industry which was a capital intensive and technology intensive one. In 1969, China Motor Corp. was established to produce light commercial vehicles, accelerating the prosperity for national economy. At present, Tai Yuen Textile, Yulon Motor, and China Motor are three core companies that make Yulon Group growing and vigorous.

After devoting to incubating own R&D capability for decades, Yulon Group has laid a solid foundation on textile and automobile businesses. Associating with key component suppliers, marketing & service channels, and auto-related business, two automakers under the Group banner have constructed a comprehensive value chain holding a competitive edge throughout production to sale. Moreover, the Group also broadens its business scope to Mainland China and overseas markets, deepening the deployment for further expansion. As Taiwan's high-tech industries are growing rapidly from the 1990s, the Group takes part in the row to invest in electronic technology business. By means of strategic and financial investments offered by affiliated venture capital and investment companies, the Group has gradually formed a substantial basis.

In the future, Yulon Group will keep on devoting to R&D and innovation based on its solid foundation, and strives for realizing livelihood wealth and bringing social happiness as well.
